Drug-related treatment

The aim of this field is to provide information on treatment and care of drug users in Hungary. Quantitative information is available on clients entering treatment due to problems related to their drug use. This data is collected in the scope of the so-called TDI (Treatment Demand Indicator) data collection along standards developed by EMCDDA.

Information on the treatment and care system, its structure, funding, delivered services, programmes is based on annual reports of treatment and care coordination bodies, study reports, expert focus groups.

National data on drug-related treatment is published in the National Report. Information received from member states is presented by EMCDDA in the Annual Report, in publications concentrating on particular treatment related issues, and in the Statistical Bulletin.
